Montage with sound edit

Coninuity edit

The first edit shows examples of spatial continuity in its “match on action” as the man hands the women the book. There is also a cheat cut involved which is also a technique used when attempting spatial continuity.

The first is also an example of elliptical editing, in it you see a jump cut. Where the characters hand over a book to each other and when the cut happens to a wider angle shot they have changed places.

The second edit is an example of Rhythmic continuity. The subject matter moves in time with the music, and the cuts happen in time with the music too.

The third edit is a very quick example of a graphic continuity edit. A different person walks past the camera, but it looks very similar as they both have relatively similar jackets on. They are both moving at almost the same pace aswell.

In this video representation of Time. I present the endless problems we would face if the dimension of time had alternate laws which would take you back 2 minutes every once in while for instance. This video represents how time could truly be a foe, rather than the friend it is now.

This is my video representation of Lines and points. The meaning of the video is to portray lines and points in their most basic forms to show their very foundations. The box that the video is in represents lines and the single dot at the end represents a point, therefore showing the two parts at their simplest. I decided to put the sound track to the begining of a space oddysey to it aswell, as that part of the track in the film plays when the humans are at their most basic form, apes.
